The Athenascope Windows App is based on a version of OBS Studio available free to Athenascope users. It detects when a supported game is running and sends the video directly to Athena. That said, there are limited audio customization options on the Athenascope Windows App, so we recommend following these troubleshooting steps if you're using the Athenascope Windows App and your clips are resulting in no mic audio, no gameplay audio, or a combination of the two:
1. Try running the Athenascope Windows App as admin (File>Exit to close, then restart as admin) and make sure you aren’t changing audio sources while Athenascope is running.
2. If that does not work, try uninstalling/reinstalling the client with different Defaults set on your system audio. First, uninstall Athenascope. Then, restart your computer, go to Sound Settings, and make sure your default input and output are set to the devices you're using for gameplay. Then, install Athenascope, run as admin, and make sure the options in the Athenascope Windows App are both sent to Default as pictured below:
Note: We’ve heard of issues with Voicemeeter, VoiceMod, and other mixers. If you are using one, try disabling it.
