If you're seeing a black screen when you start the Athenascope Windows App, even with the game being detected, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Try running Athenascope as admin. Close Athenascope (File>Exit), then restart as Admin by right clicking Athenascope > Run as Administrator.
2. Make sure you aren’t running another game capture program like OBS/SLOBS - this can interfere with the Athenascope Windows App.
3. Try uninstalling/reinstalling the client.
